After BR created "The Secret History of Guadeloupe" by painting with oil on the local Madras material in Vieux Habitants, French West Indies, he travelled to Tulum, Mexico and fell in love with the local color palette. Designer JL then manipulated the Guadeloupe image to create a fusion of the Tulum colors with the Guadeloupe design.
